Prayer Part 3: He is Worth it!

Prayer Part 3: He is Worth it!

While taking time for personal prayer may feel like a battle oftentimes, in a practical sense, when we obey and persevere, choosing for our will to have the final say instead of our feelings or flesh, we shall not be disappointed!

As we trust and hope, and take real action and practical steps, doing whatever it takes to pray daily, we create a profound and priceless opportunity for the Lord to lavish his grace on us and water our thirsty, thirsty hearts. The Lord’s promise to us is this: “When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you” (Jeremiah 29:13).

The bottom line is this: Is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who laid down his life for us, who spends nothing but all of eternity thinking of us and loving us, is he worth it? Yes!

He is worth any and all effort we make to spend time with him daily. Further, he is worthy of praise, and our practical planning for how personal times of prayer can fit into our daily schedules is a very tangible way that we express our love to him.

Whatever we have to do, however we need to arrange our lives, in order to pray daily—he’s beyond worth it!
